Important Note: Student and Chaperone registration are not complete until you submit the mandatory consent forms. Click here to print them.
If you make changes after submission, you should resubmit the form.
AJAS will only consider the last electronic submission.

If you complete the online registration process, you still have to mail AJAS a hard copy of the registration form that you received in the mail with the appropriate fees. Before AJAS can accept your registration, your name be verified though your state/regional junior of science director.

JUNIOR ACADEMY DIRECTORS. Please be sure that ALL of this information is given to your students and adult chaperones immediately. Please ensure that the students from your state, including those returning from previous years, have all their materials in on time.

PLEASE ENSURE THAT STUDENTS ARE WELL INSTRUCTED ON PROPER CONDUCT AT A MEETING AND ARE PROPERLY CHAPERONED DURING THE ENTIRE TRIP.

All students must abide by AJAS/NAAS standards. Your name must be on the abstract submission form filed online. You must send a verification list of all your state delegates' names, addresses with zip codes, phone numbers with area codes, E-mail addresses and abstract titles by
November 1st.


ESTIMATES OF FEES (There are three parts to the fees for this meeting):

1. The AJAS/NAAS convention fee is required.
2. AAAS registration fee is required.
3. The housing fee is optional.

Fees will be due November 10th.

Returning Students. Students who presented at last year's convention will receive this invitation. If they have continued their research and remain in good standing, they are invited to return. However, these students must follow the same procedures as everyone else. Students, you must contact your state junior academy director. Submit your research paper and/or abstract along with your request to attend the convention to your state director. The application to attend must be approved by your state/regional director or designee on behalf of the state academy before you submit your abstract online. So please work with her/him in making the arrangements. Your name should be on the official list sent to AJAS by your state director.
